The company’s expertise in designing and manufacturing custom transformers has made it a leading provider of wound magnetic components and assemblies that are custom designed to meet the specific requirements of our customers.
Facilities and Expansion
Nova Magnetics moved into its present 39,000 Sq. Ft. building, which is owned by the founders, in 1985. In 1992, Nova Magnetic purchased an adjoining 10,000-square-foot building that includes sufficient space for additional expansion. This strategic expansion was designed to allow for the manufacturing of more products to meet the growing demands of the industry.
Nova Magnetics production facility in Mexico operates in a 21,000-square-foot plant and is supported by a 10,000-square-foot warehouse located in Laredo, Texas. The subsidiary serves as a key logistics hub for the maquiladora, providing the necessary storage and transportation resources to keep production flowing seamlessly. This union allows the subsidiary to maintain the agility needed to meet the demands of Nova Magnetics, which often require a fast turnaround and a high degree of flexibility.
