Nova Magnetics Products
Nova Magnetics, Inc. designs and manufactures various custom magnetic components and AC line reactors to customer specifications. Products include power transformers, switch mode power supply transformers, audio transformers, and DC power supplies.
Power transformers
Nova Magnetics’ custom-designed power transformers can be configured with a number of options, including:
- 50 Hz, 60 Hz, 400 Hz to 20,000 Hz
- 1VA to 3000KVA1000KVA
- PC or open chassis mount
- NEMA 1 or NEMA 3A enclosure mounted to cabinet-style enclosures
- Voltage ranges from 0.1 to 20KV8kV
- Single-phase or three-phase AC applications
- Standard 3-leg or 5-leg core (for zero sequence current filtering)
- 6-, 12-, 18- or 24-pulse rectifiers
- Phasors (Patent Applied For), hex autotransformers, dual polygons, zero sequence-based transformers, and transformers with multiple polygon and zig-zag secondaries

Switch mode power supply transformers
Our switch mode transformers can be customized based on your unique needs, using:
- Frequencies ranging to1MHz, VA to 2000
- Flyback, forward, synchronous switched, bridge, push-pull, center tap and buck transformers
- Normal mode, common mode, commutating, and coupled inductors
- Current transformers for feedback control
- PC or open chassis mount
Audio transformers
With broadband capabilities from 5Hz to 20KHz, we design and manufacture audio transformers to maximize power transfer while maintaining the highest levels of signal integrity. For telephone applications, we make line and hybrid transformers with bulk DC power supplies up to 100KVA output.
