Nova Magnetics, Inc. was established in 1981 by Clay Hogan and Glynn Davis and has its headquarters located in Garland, Texas. The company’s 39,000 sq ft. facility is dedicated to the design and manufacture of wound magnetics, and its campus also boasts a 10,000 sq ft. building with ample land for future expansion.

Experienced Engineering Team

Matthew Davis, the 25-year president of Nova Magnetics who recently passed away, has been replaced in that position by his older brother, Christopher Davis. Christopher has a history of managing staff in the medical industry and has over 20 years of experience as the 911 dispatch director for Butler County, Kansas. He brings a unique set of abilities to the organization. Christopher is fortunate to have the advice and assistance of the same knowledgeable department directors who assisted his brother in running Nova Magnetics daily. He swiftly adjusted to his new position as president and has been successfully managing the company’s operations ever since. He has been able to sustain the profitability of the business and add a fresh perspective thanks to his diverse background and management abilities.

The Department comprises a highly experienced team of engineers, including Director of Engineering Don McDade, who earned his degree from the prestigious University of Texas at Austin in 1969. Don’s impressive resume includes working at industry leaders such as Motorola and Varo before joining Nova Magnetics in 1991.

Gaspare Fucili is a skilled engineer at Nova. He received engineering training at Giuseppe Armellini, an “istituto tecnico industriale statale” or state industrial technical institute in Rome, Italy. He received a 5-year education, the first three of which included mechanical and electrical engineering and the final two of which were entirely devoted to electrical engineering. He finished his training in 1969 and immigrated to the United States in 1974. He was employed by Texas Transformers from 1975 to 2003, and as of 2004, he has worked with Nova

Dave Reeves joined Nova Magnetics, Inc. as an engineer consultant in 1988, after designing magnetic components for renowned companies such as Hermetic Seal, Qualitron Labs, and Texas Instruments. For over a decade, Dave worked with Nova Magnetics until he retired in December 2001. Even after retirement, Dave’s expertise and knowledge are still highly sought after, and he remains accessible to assist us with challenging assignments. Dave’s unwavering commitment to his work with Nova Magnetics has had a long-lasting impact on the company and its colleagues.
